Where it all began
Art and photography have always been present in my life. Growing up, my grandfather had a camera obscura (dark room) in the family basement. He was also for a time the president of the Colored Pencil Society of America. He was and will always be my favorite artist and overall inspiration. He showed me how to blend art seamlessly with professionalism, as well as grounded me in his midwestern wholesome and kind hearted values.
In 2012 I happened to be living in south Florida. At that time I was focused on glamor/boudoir photography. During this time I was able to train with one of my favorite photographers and eventually enrolled in an arts college. I was fortunate to find my rhythm as an artist! Watching my clients see themselves in ways they have perhaps not quite seen before was exciting and rewarding. By simply using light, a great set of lenses and an artistic eye I was able to make people feel great, and in turn, my life was also becoming great and truly rewarding!
Thanks to hard work and some pure luck, I was really able to hone my skills as a professional photographer. I have been perfecting my craft, photographing everything from portraits to pets and anything in between. My main focus now is on boudoir photography. My favorite part of being a professional photographer is my client experience and really giving you not only some great art but also a one-of-a-kind, exciting and personal photo shoot.
I simply can’t wait to make some beautiful art and bring my clients dreams to life!
